Semi-transparent Stain: We will hand brush anything near the house and work our way out towards the deck to ensure no stain gets on house. Thereafter, we spray 1 coat of stain on all the vertical surfaces and 2 coats on the horizontal surfaces. When we finish spraying, we use a 6 inch wide brush and hand brush the entire horizontal surfaces to ensure the stain gets applied evenly throughout the deck.
Solid Color Stain: We will hand brush anything near the house and work our way out towards the deck to ensure no stain gets on house. Thereafter, we spray the entire deck with 1 coat of the solid color stain with an airless sprayer. This ensures an even coat throughout the deck.
Dry Time: Allow 12 to 24 hours of drying time before walking or putting furniture back on deck.

This ensures algae, moss, grass and other debris be removed from the paver joints ready for the new sand.
Efflorescence: is the white, chalky residue that forms on the surface of concrete brick pavers. Efflorescence is completely natural and occurs with all concrete products containing cement. Efflorescence is created when the calcium oxide naturally found in the cement mixes with water to form calcium hydroxide and then is leached to the surface of the paver where it comes in contact with the carbon dioxide in the air and then forms calcium carbonate which forms the white, chalky residue referred to as efflorescence.
Dry Time: Surfaces must be thoroughly dry before applying new paver jointing sand and paver sealer. Allow the brick pavers to dry for a minimum of 24 hours in warm, dry weather.
One of the most important things of restoring your brick pavers is the sand you use. We stay up to date with the industry and always try to find new products that meet our clients needs. In this case we use a poly sand that gets swept in the paver joints preventing weed growth or even grass. This poly sand hardens once we wet it.

When Sanding and Sealing your Brick Pavers:
On the day we come back and finish sanding and sealing your brick pavers, we will:
1. Blow off any debris from brick pavers.
2. Level Brick Pavers (if included in price.
3. Sweep the G2 Polybind Complete Polymeric sand between the paver joints.
4. Blow off excess sand from the surface of the pavers.
5. Apply one coat of MS 4551 paver sealer by sprayer.
It's common to find pavers that are un-even, due to neglect of maintaining them. One reason for that is not having the correct sand or not having sand at all. If moss or grass have taken over of the paver joints, water will seep through underneath during the cold season and freeze. This causes the pavers to shift and get un-even. We use special techniques to level your pavers.
Many people are not sure of the benefits of sealing their pavers. This option is really a personal preference. Some like their pavers with a high gloss shine, and some like a natural look. We recommend sealing the pavers with a low shine or natural sealer. This will also help the surface if oil or other liquids spill on the surface.

A high gloss sealer that leaves a protective film on top of the pavers can cause the pavers to be slippery when they get wet.
We use a rotating turbo nozzle or a surface cleaner to clean the surface of the cement. Many people are very surprised when they see the results.
Sealing your cement is an option. Sealing driveways help prolong the look and life of the cement. If you car has an oil leak or coolant leak, the sealer prevents harsh liquids from soaking in the cement and leaving an ugly stain.
We use a rotating turbo nozzle or a surface cleaner to clean the surface of the stamped concrete, prepping it for the sealing stage.
In many cases, by not maintaining or sealing stamped concrete, the color tend to look dull and dry. Sealing stamped concrete glorifies the natural look of the color and makes it stand out.
